ABOUT CONNIE
Connie is a wife of a Vietnam Veteran and has been married 50 years. I’m a Mom of two children and grandmother of 2 incredible grandchildren. I have worked as an administrator in the Medical Field, the Operations Manager and Director of Tours for Lakewood Church and Joel Osteen Ministries and had a 2-year career as the Road Supervisor for Joyce Meyer Ministries. The last corporate position, one of my responsibilities was incentive travel, being responsible for up to 46 winners having chosen a great location and coordination of welcome receptions, dinners, planned team building events. Also being responsible for national conferences.
I was the primary care giver for my Mom & Dad during their trials later in their lives. Mom had coronary issues and Dad had Lung cancer. It was an honor to make sure their care was the best possible.
I enjoy traveling, learning about new locations or resorts. My husband, Steve and I like to get away in our Motor Coach and tour new areas within the United States with our two dogs; Maddie, a Borzoi and Pickle, a Chorkie. We enjoy taking long walks to explore with the dogs or bike riding when possible.
I enjoy giving back, paying it forward, or volunteering. Steve and I enjoy being a part of a committee for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. It is a 3-week Rodeo in Houston, which raises money for scholarships for higher education. Our committee shows children in an interactive farm setting, how their food is grown and where their food comes from. When given an opportunity Connie does sponsorship of Hole in Ones for charity golf tournaments.
